Asif Ali’s father became CPI(M)Local Secratary

MP Shaukath Ali, Father of young Malayalam actor Asif Ali, is selected by CPI(M) as the local secretary of Muthalakkodam in the vacancy of the previous secretory V.A Jamal, who was selected as secretary for 3 times.He is selected to this particular position without any opponent. Shaukath Ali was earlier quit from party in 1995, due to some issues occurred during Thodupuzha Nagarasabha Election.After that he is joined Muslim League and became Chairman twice, first with the help of UDF.Then he came back to CPI (M) in 2010 and now became the local secretary.
