Shamna Kasim is actually a malayali , but she is much popular as an actress in Kollywood and Tollywood film industries and she known there as Poorna .
Now Shamna is doing another Telungu movie which is directing by Korattala Shiva where Mahesh Babu is the hero in it .The film is not titled yet and Shamna Kasim in a song, along with the Telugu star .Many other names were suggested in place of Shamna , but director was looking for an actress who can perfectly handle classical dance .So Poorna selected .Most of the scenes are in a village area and technicians are building a special set for the songs.
